What a week it was last week for me and Charlotte at our humble Barry abode, and no doubt for most of you around the Vale of Glamorgan too. Not only was it pancakes galore for Mardi Gras (Shrove Tuesday) and Welsh Cakes hot off the stone for St Davids Day (thanks to Mel Griffiths at Mels Café over at The Business Centre), but we also found out that our lovely Barry, where we work and live, has appeared in the top ten list of Wales’ most desirable places to live! And not just anywhere in the top ten, number 1 for the Cadoxton postcode, just up the road from Masons Self Storage Centre..! It was voted for good working hours, good local commutes and good local schools! Well done the Vale of Glamorgan.

Talk about proud! Once famous for Bindles and Butlins and of course Gavin and Stacey, now Barry really has made it to the top of the list! 

Not sure what is up ahead for us again this week – lighter evenings for one – but we are looking forward to sharing it with you all.
